Program overview
Advances in Mental Health and Addictions Treatment Center provides comprehensive, structured treatment for mental health, dual-diagnosis and the alcohol or chemically dependent person, their family members, and/or significant others in a caring therapeutic environment. Our adolescent and adult outpatient programs are designed for individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, eating disorders and/or chemical dependency, but do not require inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. The structured groups focus on intervention, education, group interaction, individual and family counseling and providing a tailored treatment plan based on the individual's specific needs. The Day Treatment Program is a highly structured therapeutic program lasting six hours, five days per week. This program serves as a "step down" from inpatient hospitalization or as a means to prevent hospitalization. This program features a coordinated treatment plan that is more concentrated and focused than traditional outpatient care. Our structured format provides both medical and medication monitoring plus individual therapy, therapeutic groups and activities. Clients return home every evening so that they can maintain the important links to family and community.
